This is the summer when we come together. The summer we unite as one under a star spangled banner fought for by brave men and women generations prior to our time. Starting now when you are reading, we encourage you to call someone and reunite with them. Come together, stand together and focus on our strength as opposed to our differences and build a stronger nation as Americans.
The price of freedom has been paid for in blood shed by our ancestors who came to this land for a better future. The melting pot of the world. Something I know I grew up proud of and something I hope you are proud of as well. The United States of America, a place of real opportunity to live a life built by yourself without oppression. It has been easier for some than others I understand but that underlying truth still remains. America is the first country to strike a line in the sand as a democratic society to provide equal opportunity. Over the course of the last 246 years we live in a United States where the opportunity has never been more equal across a landscape of citizens from countless nationalities.
We hope this memorial day we can take a moment to remember those who have fallen in the name of freedom. Those who truly paid the ultimate price and to those who are still fighting battles and demons.
We want everyone to enjoy their holiday weekend. We want everyone to come together, make memories, and enjoy time with family and friends. We are also asking you to thank those who have served for their sacrifice each and every time you see one from now until forever. We are asking you to take a moment to remember the generations who came before us who fought for our opportunity all the way down to our founding fathers who took a chance on something that turned into the greatest superpower in the world, what we call the United States of America.
We are the people of this great nation and standing together as one is what America is and always will be. It's people united.
This Memorial day we are so thankful for our family and loved ones who served our great nation. I'm thankful for the men and women who are currently fighting threats domestically and outside our borders. This memorial day we hope you can also find a couple reasons to be thankful for this country we live in. Because it's not just a day off work, but a chance to reflect on what matters most.
Happy Memorial day family, enjoy your holiday as you come together to pay tribute to those who paid the ultimate price.
