Every once in a while a wild idea comes to you. And that is exactly what happened in this scenario. We had gotten a request for a vinegar based, Kansas City-style barbecue sauce. To be honest the thought was somewhat intimidating, after so much trial and error went into creating the barbecue mustard. We want to make products people will fall in love with and want to share with others. We decided vinegar would be the base, along with our blend of spices, to carry our hottest flavors to date. This original base is now known as Red Gravy. The one and only Red Gravy that has the personality of both a barbecue and a hot sauce.
